Volunteer - The Center has over 50 active volunteers who serve as instructors, board members, IT “gurus,” office assistants, and tax preparers; some provide testimonial support, act as mentors for other clients and participate on our program committee which designs, evaluates and promotes our services.  We accept individual volunteers and groups.

Spread the word - Tell your friends about us by forwarding our e-newsletter to them.  If you haven’t registered for our e-newsletter yet, you can do it here. 

Understand the issues and join the political debate - Make sure your representatives know where you stand on housing and income equality issues.  To find out your representatives’ contact information, click here for Washington, and click here for Oregon.

Surf the internet – No, really.  GoodSearch will pay us every time you use their Yahoo-powered search engine on our behalf.   Simply go to their website and type in Community Housing Resource Center as the agency you “Do GoodSearch for.” Then, browse the web using their search engine.

Purchase an item from our wish list – We set up a wish list on Amazon.com with items that we need but that fall outside of our budget. Simply enter "Community Housing Resource Center" into the search field when looking for a specific wish list.

Give an in-kind gift – We maintain a list of items we need on our website at: www.homecen.org/inkind.html.

Get your employer to match your gift- Ask your employer about their matching gift program.  You may be able to double or triple your gift, making an even bigger impact.
