Columbia Non-Profit Housing - First Home Loan Program
The First Home Loan Program is a revolving loan fund that provides
assistance for first time home buyers. The fund is capitalized by grants
from public and private sources. All assistance is in the form of loans.
Loans made by the fund are secured by a second mortgage on the homes
purchase.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to Habitat's goal of eliminating poverty Housing. Homes are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute "Sweat Equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional homes.
